We are not Occupational Therapists.

Liveasy does not provide Occupational Therapy services. However, we can provide practical advice on mobility and living equipment, and we can work alongside healthcare professionals where appropriate.

Our role is to help customers understand product options, try suitable equipment and feel confident in their choice.

If a full clinical assessment is required, we may recommend speaking with an Occupational Therapist or relevant healthcare professional.

Liveasy has worked with NHS services, local authorities and healthcare professionals for many years, supplying seating and equipment where required.

Seating advice

Our seating assessor Kathryn has over 20 years experience within seating and has received training from seating companies including Direct Healthcare Group, Repose Furniture and Primacare Ltd.

Working with therapists

Kathryn has worked closely with NHS and private Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, supporting equipment selection where seating guidance is needed.

Pressure care & support

We have experience with seating issues including pressure care, postural support and more specialised comfort requirements.

NHS loan equipment

Liveasy has supplied equipment to NHS loan equipment services and wheelchair services departments across the region for many years.

Across the region

We have frequently sourced equipment for Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland and South Tyneside, as well as wheelchair services departments.

Home visits

Where appropriate, we can arrange home visits to better understand your needs, space and environment, especially for seating or larger equipment.

Seating support

Comfort that can adapt as needs change.

The right seating should not only provide comfort today, but also allow for changes where possible if your needs alter over time.

Kathryn also works alongside a local independent upholsterer who can create bespoke cushions and accessories for chairs, helping to offer more customised comfort.
